Senior Network Engineer, Cisco, Meraki, Sonicwall- CCNA/CCNP

We are a Chicago land based IT Managed Service Provider looking to add a Network Engineer to our staff. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Network Engineering Experience with Cisco, Meraki and Sonic Wall routers/switches and firewalls. CCNA/CCNP Certification preferred.

Systems Experience will be a plus, including Microsoft based technologies, public/private cloud and virtualization technologies. (VMWare ESX Hypervisor, Windows 2016 Server Platforms etc.)

This is a customer facing role. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as both written and oral communications in a team environment. 

Role is primarily in the Chicago land area (Northwest Suburbs and City of Chicago), however, travel may be required on certain occasions. 

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum CCNA Certification, CCNP a plus

Excellent analytical and technical skills with focus on detail and logic

Enterprise level experience

Ability to identify process improvement areas and communicate to key stakeholders

Ability to create advanced physical and logical infrastructure diagrams of complex network infrastructure

Microsoft Systems Engineer- Level 3 Systems/0365 Migration Engineer

We are a Chicagoland based Managed Service Provider looking to add a Level 3 Systems Engineer to our growing staff. The ideal candidate is a hands-on Support Engineer that works well in team environments with outstanding customer interaction skills.

Additionally, this individual will:

  • Provide technical and operational support to coworkers.
  • Consults with management on project design/development needs.
  • Possess the ability to manage projects of moderate scope or complexity with no direction
  • Personable with strong business acumen and the ability to understand the impact technology has on the business outcome and success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Execute, manage and lead Office 365 customers thru the Onboarding process
  • At least 4 years of experience supporting Exchange Online and Microsoft O365
  • Experience with Exchange to Office 365 migrations
  • Advanced level understanding of email systems and routing architecture
  • Experience supporting O365 mailboxes, user accounts, enterprise exchnage policies and procedures
  • Advanced experience with PowerShell
  • Willingness to work directly and communicate effectively with customers in a variety of environments.
  • Experience with Public and or Private Cloud computing - AWS, AZURE is a plus

Level 2-Microsoft Systems Support Engineer

Location:   Schaumburg, IL 

Skills:     Level 2 Systems Support Engineer-Microsoft-Office 365-Azure

Qualifications & Requirements: 

    • At least 3 years of experience in end user desktop support/Microsoft Technologies

    • Experience supporting, deploying, and maintaining Windows Server, VMware, and Active Directory

    • Experience in the administration, and support of MS Office 365 platform.

    • Networking knowledge and hands on experience with Cisco, Meraki and/ or SonicWall firewalls, routers and switches

    • Understands technical infrastructure to make modifications, design and optimization enhancements.

    • Willingness to work directly and communicate effectively with customers in a variety of environments.

    • Experience with Public and or Private Cloud computing - AWS, AZURE is a plus

CORE TECHNOLOGIES

    • Strong Windows Desktop Support Experience- (Knowledge of MAC's is a plus)
