IT risk doesn’t wait for the deal to close

By the time a deal closes, IT problems are either priced in or they’re a costly oversight. Undocumented infrastructure, aging systems, shadow IT, and unknown security exposure are common in acquisition targets, and so is the pressure to integrate fast. We support PE firms and portfolio companies through every stage: pre-close due diligence, post-close integration, and ongoing managed IT.

How We Help

One partner across the entire deal lifecycle

From due diligence through exit, we cover the IT PE firms and portfolio companies actually need.

Pre-close

IT Due Diligence

We assess the IT environment of acquisition targets before the deal closes: infrastructure documentation, security gap analysis, vendor and licensing review, and a risk-rated findings report.

Post-close

M&A IT Integration

Post-close, we build and execute the integration plan, covering network connectivity, systems consolidation, user onboarding, and security standardization.

Day one

Rapid IT Onboarding

When a portfolio company joins, we stand up help desk support, monitoring, endpoint management, and network security from day one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an IT due diligence assessment include?

We document the target company’s infrastructure, assess security posture, review software licensing and vendor contracts, and identify compliance gaps. Most assessments take two to four weeks, depending on the size of the environment.

How quickly can you onboard a newly acquired company?

For standard managed IT onboarding, most portfolio companies are fully covered within 30 to 45 days. For urgent situations, we prioritize critical systems first and extend coverage in phases.

Do you work directly with the PE firm or the portfolio company?

Both, depending on the engagement. For due diligence, we work alongside the deal team. For managed IT and integration, we work directly with portfolio company leadership and operations.

A portfolio company has a cybersecurity gap we need to close before exit. Can you help?

Yes. We run cybersecurity assessments, build remediation roadmaps, and execute the fixes, including compliance work under tight timelines ahead of a sale.

Can you support portfolio companies across multiple states?

Yes. We provide managed IT and security services nationally, with onsite engineering support available in Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, and New York.
